Rear leg room is little different than any real 928. But those rear seats don't look like they could fold flat. As much as I would like to see Porsche bring back a successor to the 928 I doubt this is it.

It looks like that would be more of a two door Panamera Sedan rather than a front engined Coupe, but kind of in a modern 928 style.

Every major car innovation starts off as something like this. Usually at an auto show, rather than at a fools' convention. Don't hold your breath, but don't give up. Will the depreciation curve follow the 928 example? Will I be able to buy a very low-mile, perfectly kept, eight year old example for less than 15% of original sales price? Here's hoping folks actually buy some after other folks decide to actually build them. No reason to believe that the rear headroom and legroom will be greater than the outside dimensions of the car will allow. Looks like they used a 'hotel and real-estate' lens for the interior shots.

Does this mean the Pcar Dealer service shops will take more kindly to us? That is where my mind raced to as I read this, Ed. THAT would be a cruel April Fool's joke.

The local dealer here is more than happy to work on the car, thanks to the classics program. I'm not sure I want them to charge me for the education, the damage and subsequent repairs, plus whatever it was I thought they might be able to do. But for sure they are willing to $$$ try if I'm willing to let them. Our local Pdealer hosts regional PCA meetings, so the service guys get to see it in their driveway at least once a month when it isn't winter here. It's a good attention-getter, drawing the techs out of their workbays for a look. Jeff's daughter is doing some classic stuff at a bay area dealer, so it's reasonable to assume that there are similar talent recruits appearing at other dealers for the classic program.
