Default Vacuum diagram

Does anyone have a diagram for the vacuum lines on the S4/GT/GTS engines...?

Decal on the inside of your hood. I think 928SrUs has one on their website as well.

My impression is that the S4+ engines are "world" engines. The vacuum systems in the engine should be the same, except that certain markets may not have purge valve for the evaporative recovery system, on the right-side, cam cover area.

Dave's drawing shows the vacuum connections related to the fuel system and the auto transmission modulator. It doesn't show the purge valve or the connections to the flappy solenoid valve, HVAC, or the cruise-control (tempostat) servo. Use Dave's drawing along with the hood sticker to get a more complete idea of both vacuum systems in the engine bay.

Old eyes. That's my story. Dave's drawing shows the whole setup.

No, you totally were right except for the flappy bits; that’s why I quoted that section. The diagram—^ only shows ‘engine stuff.’

Any complete diagrams?

(Dwaynes excellent top-end refurbish provides a lot of info)

Not in the WSM.

Note that diagrams don’t cover the actual *routing.*

If Dwayne’s stuff doesn’t cover all the routing (which would surprise me) my inspection guide (link in my sig) has some pictures that show some routing. My intake guide from last century has some more (available from 928 International site/tips/Intake Manifold Removal.)

You're going to have to a little bit of research yourself... When I did my intake refresh I spent a couple of hours here tracking down all such details. Not all on one thread but definitely here. Posters like Rob Edwards' and Michael Benno's threads were very, very helpful in that regard. Down to part numbers for random clips and zip ties (thanks guys! )

The one vacuum connector under the throttle body is for the secondary air valve? From the smog pump to the exhaust..
