I searched but could find no good info on what the B pillar wiring looked like, or how to get to it. Scott was kind enough to post more pics on this thread https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...or-lights.html
which greatly helped, so I'm posting this for future reference.
I was able to get to a broken (cut or pinched?) interior light feed by removing the two screws at the top of the pillar, the trim around the seat belt, and the seat bottom, then pulling the pillar trim edge out an inch or two, after pulling off the black fuzzy strip. I couldn't get that front edge of the quarter panel out further than an inch or so because it seemed stuck around the upper seat belt mounting. Not sure if that was just glue, or???

That inner quarter has a series of plastic posts along headliner, back past quarter window, is that what you mean? To do job right, rear seat back, rear center console, rear seat all come out, then quarter panel. Mr merlin may have some pics or a better step by step recollection. Also, need to pull out carpet up from pillar to pass feet. If you've had a short, it can fuse wires all along that distribution path. Does that help at all?
On mine I was able to take out the screws at the bottom of the panel and pull it out just enough to reach in to get the connectors. On my car they the connectors were right there at the edge of the panel.
I just took these so the car is not taken apart... This piece of molding just pulls off from the top of the door to the bottom. Remove this screw. You can pull up on the sill cover a bit to get that trim bit in the first pic out. This screw is just under the bottom seat cushion. I can't remember if it had to come out or not... The harness and connectors are literally right behind this part of the panel (near the speaker). You even be able to see them with the rubber trim pulled off.
PS - BE CAREFUL WITH THE PLASTIC SILL PLATE COVER!!!!! Very easy to break!
