Default List of what is unique to 1989 S4?

I have a couple '89 S4s that I'm going to be parting out this spring and am wondering about 89 parts that are unique to that year.

Combo Switch, intensive washer and ODO reset panel come to mind.

Others?

First year with RDK. Last year with optional 40% locking differential.

No RDK on mine (12/88 build). Yes on locking diff.

First year for "ignition protection relay", designed to shut fuel off to the half of the engine that has ignition failure. Prevents catalyst fires.

First year for US S4 with 2.54:1 final drive.

I forgot that 1989 US cars didn't have the RDK.

1989 is a very interesting model year, for the 928

Aren't the heads different. They have added material in places and take longer head bolts
Correct?

Correct, but the thicker head bolt bosses aren't unique to '89.

'89 only:

ICM thermocouples are located on cylinders 4 and 8, so the LH harness is unique to '89

On the '89 S4 only, the digidash temp gauge has no numbers on it and the gas gauge is marked at each quarter of a tank

The ABS pump is unique to '89 -928 355 755 05.

There are multiple individual body sheet metal parts that are unique to '89, at least there are unique part numbers for them.

The sheet metal plate that holds the central locking control unit on the transmission tunnel is unique to '89

The HVAC box assembly is unique to '89, at least by part numbers. Not sure how/why it differs from other MYs

Front body harness, LH harness, Dash harness, door harnesses, radio to amp harness, ABS harness, rear body harness, CE panel are all unique to the '89 MY.

The red Strosek Ultra S4 MY 1991 do not have air bags which make me happy every time I remove the steering wheel.
