Hi again all. I’m assembling the vacuum hoses on the throttle body cowl and was wondering if anyone had any good pics or descriptions of how these two particular hoses should be oriented/routed in order to hit their connection points once the intake assembly is installed on the motor. The hoses are item numbers 26 and 27 in the PET (pic below).
Your routing looks pretty correct to me, having just installed my intake today. The plastic fitting (item 23) has a "line" on it that should be aligned with the "line" on the rubber boot. Both "lines" are molded in protrusions.
What I find interesting is mine does not have hose clamps on item 15 or the side of 11 that mounts to the ISV, or between the boot and fitting 23 (your PET pic doesn't show this either). Mine does have a clamp for the mass flow sensor, though, which your PET pic doesn't show. I'm pretty certain mine was as build in the factory - it's a late '87.
Another thing to consider - I installed the lower throttle portion of the manifold first, hooked everything up, raised it and propped it up and then added the manifold after the fact. I did have the assistance of a friend; access to the 4 bolts is not bad using a ratcheting box wrench. Good luck with it.

Thanks for the info, I had no idea about the lines lining up.
