Social meet for 928ers local to the Southeastern Mass / RI area!
It will be a truly no-frills social. We are hoping to get the 928ers local to the Southeastern Mass / RI area involved so we could meet each other, check out some fine cars ;-), know who is available to help wrench with one another, etc.
We will gather at noon on Saturday, March 27 with a rain date of Sunday, March 28. The meeting place will be in the parking lot at the Battleship Massachusetts in Fall River. At this location are the Battleship, a submarine, various other vessels and exhibits, and a Carousel. Adjacent to Battleship Cove is the Railroad Museum and Marine Museum. We can continue to rub elbows and talk cars at the Water Street Café which is just down the street. The originally proposed location (Duffy’s in North Kingston, RI) was closed due to town zoning issues.

Hoping for good weather and for a good turnout… pencil it in! See you there!

Just wanted to bump this back to the top. The forecast looks good for today! It should clear up by noon with only scattered showers at worst. I'll be there in any case, to greet any hearty souls regardless of the weather.
The Battleship is a good place to bring the kids even if the weather isn't perfect... take the drive to Fall River for the afternoon, meet the locals, and see an important part of our American Heritage!
