Default Mechanic in CT - Looking for Recommendation

Has anyone used Chris Saharek at SST Auto in Danbury, CT. Also, any recommendations for good 928 mechanic anywhere near Western Ct. I have an '89 S4 in Washington County.

Many thanks!

Dave Chamberlain (sp?) is up in New England. Not sure exactly where.

Worf928 on here.

Dave Chamberland is the best IMO. However, I cannot recommend him - I am concerned I will never be able to get my car fixed if he gets any more satisfied repeat customers. ;-) Danbury is a haul but it's worth the trip.

Other great mechanics about equidistant are Stan Kolen (MrMerlin) in Philly and Panos "Pete" Krassas (ElGreco) on Long Island. Stan is on all the time, Pete not so much but he is on Facebook.

If you need oil, brakes, cooling, steering, shocks, transmission, tune up, even an intake refresh most decent mechanics can do the maintenance but make sure they replace everything with new OEM spec parts. Timing belt change, slightly more complicated. Critical stuff would be internal engine work, electrical, and anything relating to flex plate and torque tube - get a 928 guy to do those.

There are lots of owners in CT so maybe one of them will jump in.

LOL or Thanks. Maybe both.

I'm probably looking at September as the next slot available for a 'new' 928 and won't really know for sure until mid-June. (Got too many folks with 'interesting' problems to diagnose )
