Yep. Three new relays coming tomorrow. Someone here said "relay, relay, relay" , so I ordered three.

Just to give an update on this thread.
Car is starting great. In a 70 degree garage, cold first start of the day take less than a second of cranking.
I went through some issues with the ignition switch, and an add-on relay designed to send full 12 volts to the 0.4 ohm resistor leading to the coil(because my mini-starter does not do that). In cleaning up my wiring while waiting for the new ignition unit, I accidentally eliminated the ground leading to that add-on relay. When that was resolved, no more engine running on, and very quick start-ups. I believe I had a combination of small problems (plus mental error on my part) all contributing to the no start problem I began with.
