Fascinating '94 GTS 5-speed Exclusive

The matte black rear wing is option code M596. Rare, but not overly so. There were a few North American cars with this option - many were built in early '93 in sequence. I guess Porsche had a few laying around that they needed to use up.
I believe X38 option could designate wider front wheels - standard 7.5" wheels were replaced by 8" wheels. Is it possible that this change was made without modifying the front fenders?

Slightly off-topic, but inquiring minds want to know...
Does Porsche understand the questions and interest folks like us have in their cars and NOW keep better records so that folks 40 years from now looking for production details on a particular Exclusive 718 will be able to find the information readily? Seems like with the advent of computers and databases it would be a no-brainer but you never know.

VERY cool car....I do recall there was a "high output" engine option buried deep in exclusive options....as I recall it was +10%....had something to do with picking the highest peforming engine during testing...will it run with Rob's stroker...no way but just adding GT cams to a stock GTS engine really wakes it up....being that the car was custom built for a sponsored Porsche athlete it wouldn't surprise me....I also love the stance of those speedlines and the slightly wider front fenders....I like this much better than the japanese market wider fenders that look a little too "tacked on" for my taste
This one is right up there with the dark green GTS in Utah with all the options in my book....and pearlglanz if it ever resurfaces

Having followed Porsche Exclusive for a long time (one of my best friends worked there during the late 928 years), I'm not quite as excited about this car as Rob is.
The rare wider fenders from the Exclusive program are pretty darn cool. The ducts? Not so much.
Neither the steering wheel nor the stereo or door speakers look like Exclusive program jobs to me. The rest of the interior seems to be the factory's all leather option that's common for non-US cars. Wheels/brakes are more recent additions, obviously.
Rob: I like your GTS a lot more than this one!

Lovely to see this in great condition. The good old Rolf Sprenger days https://www.porscheroadandrace.com/t...rolf-sprenger/
