Steering Wheel Aftermarket
Are there legal ramifications if one installs a Momo wheel that doesn't have an airbag in a post '92 (someone correct me -- I think that was the year the bags were standard?) car that was originally equipped with a bag? If one does this and installs the resistor that stops the warning from the computer, are you at legal risk? Probably varies according the jurisdiction, but if the inspector is not informed and there is no warning to tip it off that the car was equipped with a bag, you might go happily on your way til there was an accident? Then what happens?
I see lots of them installed but I never paid attention to the M/Y of car with same.

Most of the 'legal ramifications' are going to be related to liability.
If you disable the airbag, and someone else gets hurt while driving it, you have significant liability exposure.
It doesn't matter if you sell the car to someone else and it happens or if you simply let someone drive the car while you still own it and it happens.
I think it's illegal for a 'third party' to remove or disable an airbag, but not the owner.
I have no idea on the 'passing inspection' part. I would ask around at inspection places and see what they say (don't ask at the one you plan on using, at least not at first).
