There are plenty of cars and planes that I miss now that they are gone, but I still have memories of enjoying them. I say don't sweat on the sale, let it go, let it be enjoyed by another. I still get vicarious pleasure knowing that another person is taking care of it as should happen to quality artifacts.

 

Thanks guys for the well wishes and advise.I was pretty emotional this morning about the whole thing as I guess its the first time I realized that is it... Even though I still feel crap, I know its the right thing to do.... Olmann I hope you get her! This whole process will make me feel way better knowing that she will be cared for and enjoyed by another Rennlister.. Cross my fingers!

$22,500 with 20 minutes left. Since the auction time automatically extends with each new bid placed towards the end, I am not sure why people are waiting. But I guess I’d probably do the same.

The last XX8 got up to $50k+ or so IIRC and did not meet its reserve. Such a cool car! Can’t wait to see what it goes for and who is going to take it home!
