Complete.
Removing the knee bolster definitely made the swap easier. Most difficult part of the reinstall was the blind dome nuts holding the unit to the bracket. Rather than trying to reuse those I found a couple metric fine threaded standard nuts that I was able to hold in place from behind while installing the original bolts through the unit and bracket holes. It was impossible to hold those domed nuts between two fingers.
It's never easy working on these cars!
