Default Deleting the frock on an S

I want to delete the rear spoiler. Has anyone done this? Is it a mandatory fill and repaint or can it be done well enough with discreet plugging and spot paint? I understand the window trim is narrower on cars with no rear spoiler?

Yes ..... the rear hatch must have all "new" metal trim there is none under the spoiler . The 1/4 window trim is different . The 1/4 window seals are different PLUS the small brackets must be removed that hold the 1/4 spoilers and filled and painted .........no you can not spot paint !! especially not metallic gray ...
