Default WTB: Front splash shield

Anyone have one of these to sell? In the 12 years I have owned my car, this is the first one I have seen. Thought they were a myth...

A recent thread showed they are pretty much unobtainable.... Mine is in similar condition to this one pictured - needed a bit of panel beating by the alternator. Should be fixed with 8mm hex head spire screws with washers. Chase our vendors who break cars.
That part is usually referred to as a belly pan - the splash shields are those inside the fenders protecting stuff from wheel splashes. IMHO anyway.

There are some changes in materials and design over the years. 78-80 are steel. Later pans provide more room for the ribbed alternator belt.

1980 steel

I would trade a brand new NOS aluminum one for a steel one in well used condition.

I'll take that trade, if you and HoldOn don't make a deal on it. It is his thread he should have first crack.

I'd love to have one as well, if you're willing to part with another one. PM me the price.

Kevin - I may have another one that’s in OK shape with previous repair work but very serviceable. I’m going through a bunch of my inventory of parts this week and will let you know.

Thanks
Brian

I wonder how those would mate up with an S4 spoiler? I’ve been tempted to have a half pan fabled up because I cant use the front center as a jacking point for the S4 and later belly pans. I guess I could weld on a plate on the cross member and then cut a hole in the center of the S4 pan.

I would expect you to fabricate a precise and perfect replacement for your needs!
