Angry John Struthers

John,

Answered your PM and tried to send it just to be told your mailbox is full. Thought you emptied it last week?

I thought I had cleared my PM, but found I had to go into each section, Inbox, Sent Items and Message Tracking, click on "from the beginning" and clear each one individually. There was still messages from 2002.

Red face

Dennis,
Sorry, do not mean to raise your IRE.
I deleted a lot of stuff and put everything else into folders.
The stuff I saved was either maintenance specific or had to do with parts/orders/and confirmations or the possible purchase of the green, euro, auto up in Cleveland.
I'll , grudginly, delete all.
If you are having the same slow typing problem I have while on the list- type a sentence and wait 20 seconds for the cursor to clear the message and then the message appears- then I know you are truly aggrevated by the inability to PM me.
I'll clear everything but you might just want to do the Regular E thing.
BTW I've budgeted $6000.00 for that 79 Euro but I've already discovered another bidder is using that damned auto proxy bump bid which has put me at $5400 when I tested the water. Gloom and dispair !
Again, sorry about the full box.

John,

No IRE at all. Just a little cutting and pasting will be required. I'll try reposting it later. BTW I may be putting my silber 78 and/or red 931 on the auction block to finance a business deal. I'll keep you posted.

Wow!

I just realized that the PM system saves all your sent messages...

I was not aware of that.

It's not very visually obvious that there are additional folders,
and also a pulldown about what dates to display...

Once I set it to show all messages from the beginning,
and to show all sent messages, I found a lot of junk
in there I did not know was there. And I am pretty
computer savy. So when there are issues with server
space, I would bet you money it is becaue 75%
of the people out there have no clue that their
mailboxes are full of old clutter...

My inbox is always clean.

But those sent messages!

HOLY MOLY!

Dennis,
If you check the Green Euro, Auto on Ebay you'll see that they posted additional info;ie, "Hadn't run the engine in 2 years ... charged the battery and she cranked right up"... so this puppy has run, if averaged, less than 2200 miles a year since build date, and if her numbers are correct a grand total of less than 4000 miles since 1990. OH my GOD!!!
Perhaps you can see why I was asking about the WUR and fuel system in general
If I get it I'll probably have to push it to Tulsa for your viewing pleasure.
Shine up the tools Dennis it could be a bad one.
Do you know if I can board a commercial flight with a gallon of injector cleaner as carry on ?
I'll have to PM Steve Cattaneo to see if it's O.K. to run straight Break Free in lieu of transmission fluid...
Beautiful "LOOKING" sHARk though.

John,

My euro that sat for 10 years started right up also. Only problem was all of the black stuff the exhaust put on the wall of the garage. Actually, if fuel stabilizer was used or all of the fuel was taken out of the system, it probably isn't crudded. Techron or Berrymans, new fluids and a long hard run would be good for it. It will also need about 30 new 8 amp fuses and a few 16's as well. Make sure you carry spares.

Dennis
