Default Key, Anyone?

I ordered a key off Ebay, and after shipping the wrong (alarm) key, they sent me the right one (no alarm) and told me to keep the other one. If anyone wants an uncut non-oem alarm key (Orion brand), drop me a line . Maybe if ya got some nifty thing you want to trade, or just convince me that I should send it to you.

Just curious, what can you do with the blank once you have it? I would think that any locksmith that has the 928 key machine adapters would also have the blanks and probably would not be offering any big discount if you supplied your own.

Mark I've had my 944 keys made locally from factory Huff blanks. One of the smiths threw the key back over the desk, guffawed and said:

"Nah the only one who will cut that thing for you is the dealer. I'll cut it for you if you buy me a new 50,000 dollar key rig, cause that thing is stainless steel, and nobody's gonna cut it for you.

And with that I left, holding a middle finger up in front of me.

I found a locksmith here who would cut the key for me by hand, but didnt have blanks.
The key I have is chrome plated brass, FWIW.
