Default 928 Keys Questions

I am ordering a duplicate hatch key from keys4classics for my 1981 928. Does anyone know where I can buy a red head for it?

My current gas tank cap does not have a key. Do you think it make sense to buy a cap and key for it?

I just went through a worrisome week where my car's original keys went missing. I knew that had to be here somewhere, but could not find them until tonight, That experience has me me thinking about keys!

Thanks!

I'd get back up keys too asap. There is a post from a long time ago about a key shop that will recut you key off of a picture of your existing.

928 Intl usually has red keys and they will cut them for you also.

We have the blanks for $49. We've also supplied them to Stuart at Keys4classic so he may have them as well.

I'd go with 928 Intl. They are reliable, good people to work with.

Upgrade with the crested lighted key head! Much nicer and the same price.

Info in the 928...FAQ sticky.
