Default Porsche Style 90 wheels

Hi All

Yesterday I saw in craigslist someone selling what I recognized to be Porsche "Style 90" rims because they were what came on my 91' car originally.

Anyway, I went for a look and a young guy had 3 of them and only wanted $50 for all three. The tires on them were shot but they all looked in very good shape with minimal rash so I figured I couldn't go wrong and bought them.

While I am pretty certain they are original OEM Porsche wheels but thought I'd post the inner wheel markings here to see if one of you knows?

Thanks!

if there is no part number 928 or 964 or something like that then they are not OE wheels

The 1st pic is the logo SM, and the Porsche in the triangle means that they are OE, but there should also be numbers embossed around the valve stems, which will tell you whether they're 928, 911, or 944 wheels. In addition to the part numbers on the backside of the spokes that Mark is referring to.

And RDK senders should be mounted on the barrels.

Thanks fellas - I just checked and found the number on one of them: 984.382.118.01

A quick search suggests these came on a 944 not a 928

Or maybe 964 362 116 01? The embossed numbers are really hard to read through 30 years of brake dust, the 6's look like 8's.

Good Call!

The number is indeed 964.362.116.01
16 x 8J with offset of ET 52.3

So from what I can tell is they will fit Porsche 964 (1989-1994) and Porsche 944 (1987-1991) models . Won't work on a 928!

It's not that they won't work...but that they are 8" instead of 9" which were factory rears on the 928. The ET of 52.3 is correct for the rears.
