Rootwood / Leather Interior Parts -- Where to find?
I'm looking for original, **not aftermarket**, rootwood accents. Anyone know where to find this stuff?
On the leather front:
I already have a factory new dash, pod and console, and I'm having a-pillars made, have doors and quarters and roof and sport seats ... now I need the *****, shifter insert, seatbelt receivers, etc etc. Porsche offered everything in leather and I want it. If I could have leather-wrapped valves and pistons I'd do that too ;-)

Heinrich,
I recall Nicole saying that the original factory that produced the rootwood items is no longer doing it.
They are rare from what I've seen. In fact I think I've seen pics from Cameron (?) that has rootwood interior.
For now I'm going the Jager route.
There's also site where you can dip the original dash/part to apply a burlwood on it. It looked really cool - I called & left messages and emails but never got a response. It would appear to look much better than the stick on stuff from Jager.
Here's the site.
If you should hear from them, please let me know.
Thanks and good luck.

Cameron,
Thanks for posting the link to your photos. I must say after seeing the interior of your car, I've changed my opinion on the use of real wood accent trim in 928 interiors. Beautiful and classy....
Good luck Heinrich...if you come across a beige or black interior and want to swap with me for a Cashmere (tan) interior (from my 89 s4) please let me know.
Best,
Tim
