How did you deal with the crank case breather plumbing? What fuel pressure are you looking for, static, max? I would really enjoy seeing a picture of your intake manifold.........must be a work of art. On your car the throttle cable bracket seems to be mounted on the cam cover....is this correct? What did you do with the throttle body and the "wire"? What is the silver colored canister on the drivers side cam cover on your car?
Any of the above that is "secret sauce" I will completely understand........I am just very curious.....

I think i can speak for Andy somewhat and understand his approach. If not, chime in Andy.
Hes put A LOT of time, effort and money into what he has developed and Im sure he considers the info/ideas/parts that he has as , as you say a "secret sauce". Not that he doesn't want to share with the list, look at the product he his developing on his own time for the benefit of us all. (much like Murph), i see it as just a matter of protecting the hard work he has done and the investment of time and money he has endured.

Nah...
My guess is that he will share the info.
I think his project was to do it cheap, and make it available to as many 928 gearheads as possible.
Even if he never makes another kit, I think Andy will be very willing to help out anyone who wants to figure out how to SC their car. I do not think he is in it for the $$$...
He made the kits to share with other enthusiasts.
He's just covering his costs.

B C ..."I do not think he is in it for the $$$..." Yes B C I would agree which is a very good thing because trying to sell 928 performance parts has not exactly proven to be a very successful business plan for most .

I just think it is cool that some people are out there, helping spread information about how to make our cars faster, cooler, and nicer, and helping with maintainance information...
Anything that keeps these great cars fast, competitive, and nice, is a good thing.
Otherwise they will just become old, outdated, and deteriorated...
People who can tool new dashboards, find replacement seats, body kits, superchargers, etc, is a hero, because they help our cars survive.

Hi Andy,
I looked at the install. Definately functional, but Im ready to take a hacksaw or a grinder to that bracket on the top-rear of the eaton! Being a signmaker, I was thinking of making a plaque in black anodized aluminum with the engraved words "porsche Kompressor to fit that tab once I hack off the bracket.
So how much does the SMTP 6 piggyback computer affect horsepower? Is it really needed or just a fine tuning tool? Where do you get them?

Andy: Is the Eaton manifold Whipple capable if one were to want to upgrade in the future?
What manifolds do you have remaining? Is the "kit" ready to ship?

I don't believe an eaton manifold can be upgraded, nor can a whipple manifold be downgraded. The supercharger mounting points are different.
The SMT6 is a fine-tuning tool. It also makes very good real-time logs of your car's behavior. I installed it initially for O2 sensor monitoring, but I will tap ignition, analog, and deflection soon.

Brian,
I am planning on offering a trade up plan where I will give something like 75% for the Jag/Eaton parts in trade for the whipple parts.
I will have to check and see what is left. On guy backed out because he needs an engine rebuild but others bought parts in preperation and didn't tell me they wanted my parts. I am pretty sure, 99%, that I could come up w/ either setup if you want it.
All major Mfg is done. I expect to send the very first groupo out next week and the others will soon follow.
I'll get back to the other replies shortly.

Andy:
I have a potential trade for my '86.5 on a Euro S4. Since they are both 32-valve cars can I safely assume that the kits will work on either? or do I have to be able to specify the '86.5 or the S4 specifically?

Brian,
There is very little difference between the two setups, realy only nuiances. The only real difference is that the IC plenum is shaped a little differently for the 85-86 but it would fit the S4 no problem. So if you got the 85-86 setup it would bolt right up on the S4.
For the S4 you would need an 85-86 throtlebody and larger injectors. All thr kits use the 85-86 throttlebody.
