Anders,
Thanks for posting the prototype Whipple picture.
SteveM928,
The Jag/Eaton M112 setup on Mike's 86.5 is currently making around 5 psi.
For about $700-800 he could add an intercooler, smaller pulley and RRFPR and add get to near double the pressure.

FYI Chris, with your hood you can run the Whipple 3300. 1 liter more displacement...same boost...lower rpm..lower temps. etc etc
Stock leaves the whipple 3300 about 1.5-2" too tall by my thinking. Its a BIG blower!

Thanks Chris! As you ccan see it dosen't cost much to get started. Like I said, you'll be getting shipped a groupo from the nest run.
Tony,
I think I could get the 3300 to work under a stock hood. It would practically touch the hood.

I would say definately old and most likely new.... could be wrong.
BTW Mike's car has a receipt for motor mounts (porsche) dated 2002. It is clear that his engine is slightly higher than mine.
He will be installing an SMT 6 soon.

Pizza,
The $1705 buys all the parts that I have had manufactured to run either the Jag/Eaton M112 or the Whipple 2300AX on the 32V cars. This includes an 356 T6 51 aluminum manifold, inlet to SC, intake tubing, airbox/shroud, throttle linkage, 6061 T6 hard anodized crank and powersteering pulley, snout support, belt tensioner, modified oil breather, gaskets, fasteners. Smog pullies will be extra since my pulley mfgr has changed.
Intercooolers are seperate and pricing is $550 and $935 though I may have to revise and make the 550 higher and the 935 may drop though. Mike is not running one and neither did I when I had this system on my car. To get above 5 psi intercooling is necessary with the Jag/Eaton M112.
On top of these parts you would need a boost gauge , fuel pressure gauge, air/fuel ratio meter, new belts, air filter element, bypass valve, injectors cleaned and tested, boost sensative fuel pressure regulator, fuel line to new regulator, and a supercharger.
BTW there is a brand new Jag/Eaton M112 on e-bay for $480 BIN. 3 people who are installing my system have bought from this same seller. The one before this one sold for $375. click here.
Recently someone contacted me to buy my crank pulley but ha needed a larger diameter. He also contacted 3 others that make systems for the 32V cars. He tells me that the prices they gave him were $800, $900, $1000 for just the crank pulley or crank pulley, ps and smog pullies.

Andy, you are DA MAN!!!!!!!!!
Tony, I could almost run an "old school" roots s/c with that hood of mine. LOL. Clearance definitely is NOT an issue.

The Guy that sells the BEGI boost sensative rising rate fuel pressure regulators on e-bay seems to be having some sort of "blowout" for $155.

Hope he has more luck then I have had so far with that SMT6 install. Is he putting it on the 86.5?
From what I found out so far the EZF crank trigger system will not work with the SMT6 so we have to go to the ignition triggers. I have not had time to wire that up yet and prob. wont till Sat. But I will let you know how that works.
