Default Race Ramps

I like using ramps to work under my cars, but my Rhinos are too steep for my '85 with front spoiler.

Race Ramps has low profile ramps that I am thinking about. They have one that is 56" long with a rise of 8", and they have a 67" ramp with a rise or 10".

Does anyone use these and will they work with my car?

Thanks.

I use a set of custom Race Ramp trailer ramps w a service recess to cradle the tire at the top
I’ll grab a pic Saturday, as they are in the back of my Cayenne now, as I’ve trailered to an event

Here is where I bought them

I have the 8 inch x 56 inch race ramps. They're great. The extra 2 inches over the 6 inch Rhinos now give me plenty of height when working under the engine.

Have them. Really like them. Race Ramps (RR-XT-2 ramps for the front, RR-WC-10 cribs for the rear),

They're nice and light; they're stored up and out of the way on a rack hanging off the garage ceiling.

See an old post for more photos.

I just put a board at the edge of my rhino ramps for the car to drive up on first, that gives just enough clearance for the spoiler. My only issue after using them while doing transmission jobs is that the elevation they give isn't the best.

Thanks for all the input, guys. I tried a board combined with the Rhinos, but wasn't a good solution for me. And, the extra 2 or 4 inches sounds good to me.

Ed, I see you have chocks up on the ramps. I wondered if there was a cradle on these, but I didn't see that these chocks were made to use like you have them. How do you keep them in place? Just wedged in?

I have been doing some reading, and some say that you shouldn't leave your car up on these for too long because they tend to crush, for lack of a better word. I can leave my cars on the Rhinos indefinitely if I need to. Any input on this would give me some confidence.

Thanks again.

Here's the thing: When you get to this point (first photo below, with the rear wheels off the ground) and you're on a slightly sloped surface (like our garage), you don't want everything rolling back on you.

The chocks are nice and rubbery, and the race ramps have a rough surface. Those chocks work just fine for this (just wedged in). I just leave them there, then, as an additional safety measure later when the lower part of the ramp is removed.

Thanks again.

I just ordered the 67", two piece set. If anyone else is interested, these are on sale at ECS Tuning. https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/ramps/ for $205 plus shipping. Even adding shipping and tax, they were $266 delivered, which is $50 -$100 cheaper than anywhere else that I could find. If you want the 56", you can find them cheaper elsewhere (with free shipping).

These are branded "Schwaben", not "Race Ramps'. Race Ramps manufactures and brands these for ECS. I talked to a helpful lady at Race Ramps and she confirmed that they are the exact same product. They even use the same drawings with the dimensions on them.
