First, I’ll soon be reinstalling the alternator shroud and cooling hose. This is a pic of the rubber grommet that goes into the oval slot in the alternator cooling shroud. This grommet has a lip: should that lip be facing towards the alternator or away from the alternator? I want to confirm whether or not it’s currently facing the proper direction. It’s currently on the side that’s away from the alternator.





Second, my car previously had the S spoiler treatment (unfortunately) which was subsequently fixed (fortunately). I suspect that both of these lower plastic aero panels just in front of the front wheels have been cut/modified due to the previous spoiler fittings. I’ve circled this area in red. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

 

The grommet lip goes away from the alternator, to make a seal of sorts around the opening in the shield.

Your bumper cover lower splash shield is missing a louver.
