Default 1978 #576 US model - question

Hi all, been awhile since i've been active on here, I've been lurking since i sold my beautiful Euro a couple years back. Still think about it almost daily.
It's about time to sell my other 928. i planned on keeping it as a driver but looks like this one needs to go as well. I've been picking away at little things like relays/fuses/lower PS hose/grounds/Tstat/Temp switch/green wire, etc.
The horn hasn't worked since i've owned it and i'd like to get things like this working before i list it for sale. I'm attaching a pic because i can't for the life of me remember how it's supposed to look. i know the brass tab on the multi-switch is distorted/tweaked bad, and the horn beeps EVERY time you turn the steering wheel, so the PO pulled the relay. I think i should have more brass material on the rear flange? Can someone show my what the rear of the steering wheel should look like? i'm going to try to re-work/rebuild the brass tab on the multi switch if possible before i look for a replacement. My title had an incorrect information issue and NYS ordered me a duplicate, so once it arrives i'll most likely be ready to list it for sale. If anyone is looking, it's a 78 US model, 71,000 miles (working odo), 5-speed, no sunroof or rub strips. driver quality re-paint in white (grand prix i'm told). hope to get it listed in the next few weeks. Thanks all.

1. does the horn beep when you ground the little wire?
2. someone was cruel to that steering wheel but it should still work. Smooth out the contact ring with 800 or 1000 grit sandpaper.
-apply deoxit paste
3. the spring contact will still work even if it's mutilated. just needs to touch plus a little more.

Thanks bob, I couldn't remember for sure but had a feeling I was missing some meat on the brass ring on the wheel, the multi switch tab is distorted/worn away some, I think the wheel might have been off/loose and chewed things Up a bit. Going to try to clean/re-seat.

Decided to look into my horn this morning and fell into a rabbit hole. Thought I'd also change the high be lamp that looked to be blown. Does anyone have a good procedure to clean the inside of the cluster housing? Mine has the chalky/white residue inside around the gauges. Was planning on soaking it in some warm soapy water but thought I'd ask first in case there's another good solution I'm forgetting. . Thanks

Just remembered I had a spare odometer gear I bought from Roger when I replaced mine in the old Euro. I'm going to replace this one while I'm in here, looks original (creme color but not terribly brown yet). does anyone have good luck with certain LED lamps to replace the three light tunnels? I figure I might as well while I'm in here (man this feels familiar)..
