Loud squealing, groaning noise coming from fan as soon as key is turned before motor start, during motor running, and after motor shutdown until key is switched off.

Troubled shooting to see which fan it is. Dumb question, but don't want to break plastic clips. Does the entire white plug in pic below come out, or do you need to undo clips on each side and pull 'top' off plug to disconnect?

Look under that white piece and you will see the plug. What you are looking at is the electrical outlet for the fan that does not get removed. Unless you want to buy a new fan anyway.

It was the drv side fan. Is best approach to replace fan or take apart and repair?

roger has such a great price on correct new ones, I just bought a pair from him. if one is going bad, the other cant be far behind. he also has new connectors, if yours are hard and brittle.
