How do I remove the throttle cable end from the quadrant?

Wish I had a better picture, but below is the best one I have. It's like a little wire spring retainer that goes around the ball cap and into a little hole (it acts similar to a set-screw). Definitely need some reading glasses for this job. After removing the wire spring, the cap pops off pretty easily.

Thanks, I found it! It was so dirty I couldn't see the wire clip. FWIW, the new cable end doesn't have the same set up, the wire is in a groove inside the cup.
