Default Exterior Measurements 1987 S4

Does anyone know, or where I could find, the exterior measurements of a 1987 S4? I am specifically interested in the length and height of the hood, as I want to purchase one, but to do so I need to put a lift in my garage and want to make sure it fits before I spend $ modifying my garage and buying a lift. Much appreciated.

When you say hood, do you mean hood or roof?

ETA: Never mind, Im sure that you meant roof, the dimensions are listed on Wikipedia.

He probably does need the hood height. in some garages it could be really tight. so finding the height of the hood at the base of the windshield could make or break it.

Approximately 33.5-34” (US inches). He may want a 2nd opinion though because of wheel and tire packages, current ride height / suspension set up, I’ve had a Bourbon, etc... but it should be fairly close to 33.5”.

Yes, thank you. I am looking for the height of the hood. Since I can only raise my garage door to 24" from the ceiling (due to a beam), i would need to back the car on the lift and the hood would need to fit under the opened garage door. It looks like I have about 44" to play with, so if the hood is 34" +/-, I should be good. One last question, anyone know the length of the hood from front bumper to windshield? If not, no big deal. I appreciate the responses.

Horizontal dimension, down the centerline, from the base of the windshield to the bumper end on my '87 S4: ~65 inches.

Perfect. Exactly what I needed. Thank you all! I will send pictures when I get the lift in with the car up for future reference.
