Where to find a 930 steering wheel?

I got it at AJUSA. They have a hub kit for the specific year of the car, which you tell them about when you order the wheel. They also had (have) an extension, which I had been looking for, to install on my original wheel ever since I heard there was such a thing.
The extension that AJ sold me not only pushes the wheel out toward the driver about 3/4 of an inch but also raises the wheel up (actually off-center of the steering shaft) about 3/4 of an inch. What this did for me was place the wheel at the exact position I want it and allow me to see through it to all the guages without having to move my head. Having the wheel a bit off the shaft center gives more leverage for turning while allowing clearance for your legs when getting in and out of the car.
I found great joy in that singular little improvement.
I did have to transplant the original horn ring and turn indicator trip mechanism (one in the same piece) from my old wheel as the one on the AJ wheel was not correct for my car. I also had to change the connector on the end of the ground wire for the horn from a narrow form factor which Porsche uses, to fit the standard size spade more commonly used. (those of us who have upgraded to Aero mirrors can sympathise). The whole install took me about a half an hour. The crest is ordered seperately but comes installed on the wheel at delivery. I am guessing Dave or Jim can get all of this done for you......just as well as AJUSA.....
good luck

Speaking of wood....WOULD the newer 993 and 996 airbag wheels mate-up to the 928 easily? These wheels often can be found cheap. Just a thought...not sure how it would look. Photoshop skills anyone?
