A women in a VW Passat smashed into my pickup and destroyed it. Later she lied and said if was my fault (of course if wasn't). So I have a grudge against VW Passat now. I want to see all VW Passat burned by the children of the corn screaming Red Rum as they burn on fire!
Sorry had to vent, bad flashbacks. Lucky she didn't smash the 928. I would have dented the shark fender but totalled her stupid car.

Not smokin rope..just thought someone would like to upgrade to my Passat (Ha Ha Ha...Just Kidding)
I don't know much about this forum but the common theme for folks selling their 928s is that they need a different car. That's why I am selling my passat. I don't need a nicely appointed, 4 door, tubo charged, german engineered pocket rocket. I do however want a 928!

Be nice. A good 2003 Passat is worth more than probably 75% of the S4's out there. NADA and KBB have the car between $18k - $22k.
However
Would I trade my 1981 928 for a 2003 Passat with no extra money either way? No.

Regardless, no one is going to trade a 928 for a Passat at fair value. The only way this guy is going to get his money's worth is to sell the Passat and then buy a 928. Now, if he wants to do a straight up trade, then I'll take his Passat, sell it, and buy a nicer 928...

Thanks for all of the feedback and opinions. Confirms for me why I want to move into a 928.
Sorry if my definitions of my vehicle don't match other folks.
I'll enjoy my "sedan" that feels like a "pocket rocket" until I have the luxury of owning a 928.
