Randy I am not very fond of them either especially since we sent these tubes already to one customer who returned them (because of the stickers) then to another who tried to remove the stickers before returning them (because of the stickers) and now we have $250 tied up in intake tubes that look less than 100 % (because of the stickers) These are going back to Porsche .(because of the stickers)

I do too but man have you ever seen what depths those concourse guys go to? On old mustangs paint slashes and overspray patterns determine levels of "restoration". If something was origionally painted on the vehicle but someone removed it, prepped and painted it perfectly then re-installed it, shame on them! It must have the paint bridge between the two parts to be "restored". Man I'm glad I only build nice cars, not competitive show cars. If my paint looks better than the factory's did, great!

Jaguar Owners Club many ,many years ago I recall a guy with a wonderful old XK120 roadster he got deductions because his interior door panels were done in leather but originally were vinyl ....another was deducted for polishing the underside of an alloy hood ...it was supposed to be painted. The 356 guys like to have all the slotted screws on all the sheet metal tin clocked so the slots all are in the same location........... what ever floats your boat ! I still think factory applied cosmoline should be REQUIRED to be "correct" .

OK, will someone post a pic of these stickers? And if you can't get them off, why did they put them on in the first place?

Ok, I've got 3 sets on the way, any more?

I'll post pics when they get here. They are not on the slow boat from Germany but maybe a slow plane. The air shipment could take up to two weeks according to Porsche.

The parts are NOT made by Porsche almost nothing is made by Porsche. The outside supplier makes them and must have some way to identify them inventory them so they slap on a sticker, Porsche gets them inspects them and slaps on another sticker to identify them as Porsche original replacements and inventory them , Most parts must be labeled for country of origin when imported to the US (sticker) ......... No one in that chain has much of an idea what the part is ,where it fits or how the stickers are going to look with the part in the car or gives a rats *** about it......

Default They've arrived!

They came in last week but we didn't have a chance to post anything. You can tell by the pic that they may have listened to Jim and started putting the stickers on the ends. They are new, fresh and ready to go, not "old stock" like I almost expected.

So Cobalt.......give us a call. And Bigs.......well I think you are close enough to smell them and already know that they have arrived.

Anyone else?

We have one more set available, 2 sets are sold. They run about $320 + shipping to your location. The floor is in our showroom, usually not seen by the public as it is covered by parts, projects, dog hair and stray Harley's. I got a wild hair Saturday (and Sunday) and cleaned the showroom. It's almost presentable to the public now!

Heinrich, you would do better by just buying new floormats. I know the slate would accent your black leather but it would also add power robbing weight.

The Harley Fat Boy is for sale also. It is a paint project to show off our custom work, has been done for a few months so it's time for another one. Neither one of us rides Harleys..........

Holy cow Dave!!!

I'm just up there last Friday and now I can't even recognize the place!! The clean gleam is blinding! What'd you do, get married? Or get religion! (You know, cleanliness is next to... and all that stuff.)

Me? Married? Bwahhhahahahahahahahah. I have to look up my own address to find my house I spend so much time at the shop.

As for religion, I have always been religious, just not the approved flavor of the local. Talk about not fitting in, no urge to get married and a strict decision that two children were enough, what am I doing here again? Oh yeah, playing cleaning lady..........

I'd ask for pics... but my imaginations' even better!

I'll be up tomorrow to pick up the goods.

OK all you sharksters, guess I'll have a pair of used but still reasonably decent GTS intake tubes to give away. First come, first served! (Although I do reserve the right to at least put the new ones on first and make sure they fit and look right.)
