I stopped watching the video as soon as the stupid decision was shown to melt through and butcher, rather than simply remove, the rear cover. Which was the very first thing shown.

Cringe.

Pathetic. Melting the cover... I too didn't watch past the first minute. I'll stick to doing it the right way, Dwayne's Garage.

The only problem is you can't remove the rear cover without removing the crank gear. His gear puller is too large. I have a smaller one but also destroy the thrust washer. Agree the torch to melt plastic is not cool.
