Default FS: Tom Cloutier exhaust systems - added an S4 version to sell

Currently mounted on early 86. Straight pipe.

Going to ask $750 because I have no idea how much it is worth.

Hi Kevin - I believe it's Cloutier. Nevertheless, these are the very best of the best exhaust systems that you can have. This is what is on Blumaxx, and the performance is fantastic, and the sound is like no other 928 I've heard. Here is a linkn from Tom discussing the exhaust principles: http://jenniskens.livedsl.nl/technic...3/MyTip356.htm.

Sadly, just the exhaust. The headers are near impossible to find - only two were made, I think.

The double-crossover headers are the valuable part of Tom's system. ;(

He started working with DEVEK, but when they folded he moved his dyno. I used his dyno through the 2008 season. When I tried to get a hold of him the next year, I couldn't get an answer. Sadly, I found out later from Bill that he had died.

Default S4 Tom Cloutier exhaust $1250

Adding a second Tom Cloutier 3" exhaust system I was planning for my stroker, but my plans have changed. Was removed from 89 S4.

WAY too complicated for minimal, if any, gains over standard headers.

Default Was this removed from a California 928s4 ?

Tom was a best friend of mine.I learned a great deal about 928s and the science of motorsports. He was highly intelligent and generous. THE POWERBROKER 🙏
