Default headlight relay changes - -02 to -01 ?

I had to replace my headlight relay soon after I got the car (2001)- forget exactly why. Opened the old unit and tried cleaning points etc, but no joy. Bought a spare off fleabay a few years ago, cheaply, thinking I was on a winner. Looking at them now (old opened unit 92861810702, new one 92861810701) I find they are different - old one is smaller, and has a different schematic, and 10 pins, dated 17.9.84. New one has 14 pins, dated, I think, 201201. Curiously the -02 runs from 78 up into the late 80s, and is then replaced by the -01 in PET - unusual that the later unit has a lower end number?
Looks like the current unit better not fail on me - or have I just jinxed myself?

Hi John , the headlight relay for the 928 up to & including 1986 year model was 928 618 107 02 now superseded to 928 618 107 05

The headlight relay for the 928S4 / GT / GTS ( 1987 - 1995 year models ) was 928 618 107 01 now superseded to 928 618 107 63

Note } 928 models up to & including 1986 year model , the headlight motor / linkage does a full 360 deg turn ( sweep ) in lifting or lowering the headlights

The 928S4 ( 1987 ) on-wards , the headlight lifting motor only does a 180 deg sweep of the linkage , that's because the A/C condenser on the 1987 - 1995 is longer and if the linkage did a full sweep the linkage would cut into the A/C condenser , so the control relay is quite different
