They are greyish-green, not quite avocado. Probably since they are so rare there was not such a great demand for that color. I have also found another one in Germany, used, for much less. I prefer that I know the condition before committing to it though.

OK, I've seen a couple of those in Europe and I know of at least one here (in a Euro car). What was the price?

Ouch. That would break my budget. But I'm sure it will look good.
I'm trying to keep my S4 purchase with restoration costs under $8K. If I can just get rid of one annoying electrical gremlin, I'll come in under budget with a very sweet tripple black 1988 928S4 5-spd w/ 103K on the clock. Come to think of it, Mark Anderson must be Santa, becasue he found the car for me and it was delivered right before Christmas.
