Default 1980 928 Auto for sale, w/Pasha interior and Renegade LT4 conversion

I haven't been on the Forum for several years, but definitely have used the vast resources available on the Forum. Three years ago I "blew" the engine on the '85S and had to rebuild it and had several issues that I resolved after researching the Forum. I had planned on building a separate garage for the cars, even had all the permits drawn, but at the last minute the HOA denied it because according to their interpretation "it was restricted by the covenant by-laws." My wife says I have to sell it because we have too many cars (recently bought a car for my daughter), and limited garage/driveway space. I’ve listed my 80 Auto w/Pasha interior and Renegade LT4 conversion for sale in “The Marketplace” for $13,500.

This is a 1980 928 that I bought from Rob Bud 9 years ago, It has a blueprinted Corvette LT4 that started as a crate engine from Summit Racing with cold air intake, electric water pump, custom radiator w/temp. control modules, coated headers and exhaust, coupled to the 3 speed automatic transmission. Porsche 17" Turbo Twist wheels w/spacers, new Michelins Pilot Sport 3s, Porsche GTS brakes, SS brake lines, Eiback progressive springs, Bilstein shocks, 928 Specialist front./rear sway bars. 425 HP 475 ft/lbs torque at flywheel. Blue Pasha, beige leather and Alcatara interior, with rear seat delete, storage bins under rear deck, blue carpet and rear mat (all from Rob Bud Interiors). All new engine electrical components, starter, ignition switch, battery, alternator; recent tune up with new spark plug and 8.5 mm wires, coil, oil/air/fuel filters, engine/transmission oil and coolant changed, fuel pump, O2 sensor, MAF, gas tank screens/gasket. Custom AC hoses, new compressor, R134 conversion. Interior LEDs, H8 headlights. Milano red (Honda NSX color). Some corrosion starting to show lower door sills. Rob had replaced all door/window seals and front windshield. Car cover, extra engine computer, DataMaster program w/computer for tune included. Current programming professionally tuned.

Additional pictures are at the Marketplace listing.

I have seen this beast and the pictures don't do it justice!

The interior is amazing and the conversion was done very well, not a hack job.

No affiliation other than knowing Dr. Ed for many years as a friend who is also a true gentleman and a man of his word.

This needs to find a good home.

I rode in this 928 when Bob Budd owned it. This was around 2002, when I first met him.
At the time, it had a color similar to Chiffon White, custom Berber interior, and a different Chevy small-block.
During the early success of his business, he repainted it to the Red it is today, installed the LT4 to a high level (remember this was it's 2nd conversion, so many aspects were refined).
To further showcase his talents, he did the super crazy cool interior w/loads of alcantera and Pasha!
The 3-speed Auto is actually well suited to the car. It's a stump-puller, kinda like a 2-speed Powerglide street drag car... with a Porsche chassis. Unique combination, unique 928. GLWS!
