Rebuilding a 924s (I know, its a 928 forum) with a light engine fire. The factory hood insulation melted and dripped everywhere. This is some really nasty stuff, gummy and seemingly impossible to remove. Anyone have any experience in cleaning this mess up.

You would think that the cosmetics are the least of my concerns but the project is moving quickly and I want to clean as the opportunities present. Lacquer thinner works but not easily at all.
