Went to register my car in the OC database (thought I had done it many years ago!), and guessed that their "production number" was last 4 digits of VIN - 0812 . Seemed to be accepted, then came back with a msg that the Production No was wrong, should be 752, please correct. I have a copy of the invoice, and the only thing I can see there that might be relevant is an item headed 'Kom-Nr." in the German line, with "Com-Nr." below that in Elglish line, and the value below is "500072".
Can anybody confirm my thinking please?
