Lloyd’s mats. Embroidered logos. Prices are the same no matter who sells them I believe.

Timely question for me as well.

I looked at the websites of those first 2, cocomats still uses natural fabrics partially, but Lloyds mats only offers synthetics. Does anybody still make relatively authentic carpets in wool like the ones that were OE? Do any of our trusted parts suppliers here know, if any are still available from Porsche?

On the other hand, Lloyds website is pretty amazing. I can even order black mats that are embroidered with 928GT in red. Great configuration tool! The claim "Twice the weight and density of original equipment mats" makes me suspicious as the OEM mats in a 928 are defty.

Porsche Classic has black mats here: http://content2.us.porsche.com/prod/...2581BF003E2730

I have a set of Porsche OEM new/still-in-bag marine blue for my GTS and I think I would agree with Lloyds being twice the weight and density of OEM. BUT, Lloyds can't match marine blue for ****. I tried three times and finally gave up.

PO was kind enough to buy coco mats for the car. The calico ones. I love them, very festive. Buy the subtle, dark jobbers for your pickup truck. This is a fun car.

I bought a set of cashmere mats from Suncoast, pretty nice quality and weight.

I just ordered a set of Loyds mats from Rob Bud. $125 for the two fronts with embroidered "928". Ordered the color - M Saddle 520 with black lettering - Really hoping its gonna match my cork interior. Does anyone have any experience with this ?

COCO mats! I have used Lloyds which don't fit all that well and they can slide around. Coco mats offer a massive selection of colors ,patterns and fabrics. They are very concerned about fit and offer templates to make sure. What ever color you chose they send free of charge a box of swatches. In my red car I have grey green interior with grayish carpet. It was a difficult color choice and I went thru about a dozen swatches. The carpets are heavy and they don't move or slip.
Highly recommended. NOT CHEAP
