wheel color & a simple question.
Hello 928 enthusiasts,
The more I look at it, the more I smile
My 84 factory 16" flat disc alloy has this very slight gold tone in it. Is this color a standard or an optional item back in those days?
Where is the motor for the windshield reservoir? Both nozzles do not work at the moment while the CD is in the mail. Thanks!

That's called "platinum." Don't know why and don't follow the logic.
The washer pump for the windshield is on the inside of the engine compartment roughly below the washer fluid fill spout.

Moon928-what happened to your 84? RIP? Are you going to replace it?
Since the gold shade of the wheel was not registered in the vehicle optional code, was it standard factory item in 84?
Did the same color appear in other years? Anyone?

I am trying very hard to replace it with a S4. I would love to have the same color exterior and interior but they are very hard to find.
I totaled it and its nobody's fault but mine. I was just pushing it to hard. Put it this way, I need limited slip on my next car.
I did get a chance to see it in a junk yard in the western part of Mass a year after the crash. It caught my eye at 100 yards. It was just a shell at that point, and I said to my friend that is my car. He bet me $100 bucks it wasnt mine..... bitter sweet ending ....I won the money but it broke my heart to see it stripped. Some day I will post the pictures of the car after the accident.
