There are always bugs to work-out after a build, so how/where are you going to test prior to the event?

That is really difficult in land speed racing. When i was building for Bonneville, it became obvious that there was nowhere I could go to actually test so many things. Even the alignment I couldn't test with a drive. Its really a bear.
I will test engine and clutch and trans on a chassis dyno. We tested aero in a wind tunnel. That's about the best I can do until I go back to road-racing trim and drive it around a bit.

On our road-racing schedule, we usually find a few things after the first couple races.
