No pics of them, but in 85 I was driving a 78 Pontiac Sunbird. Don't laugh (at least not too hard), with a 3.8 V6 and a 4 speed, that thing was a lot faster than it looked.
By the end of 85, I was driving an 83 Chev full size pickup.

Great topic......in 1988 my first 928....I was 15.....so I was riding a niskiki 12 speed road bike..... I thought it was the best bike in the world..... I bought Sharky in 2004 and sold her in 2009 and regret it every day since... I am proud to say her last two owners are rennlist and have taken proper care of her...i am proud to have brought Sharky up to,standards that has been carried forward.

1981 928 5-speed.
I drove a 1978 Pontiac Lemans v-8 old man body & trim. Added to the carburation and ignition system. I traded that for a 1975 WV Rabbit which I added carb, cam and exhaust and beefed up the suspension/tires making it rather fun to drive. I could never get it sideways in the snow which is the only vehicle to accomplish this to this day.

In 1984, I bought a brand new red Toyota pickup extra cab. A real good and reliable small pickup until the month before my last payment when a semi-truck attempted to mash it with me
in it(Did a pretty good job too)

In 1989, I had an 1988 Isuzu Trooper Limited Edition (all black)
Mine looked just like this one:black with red pin stripes and a brush guard, but mine did have wheels
In 1994, I believe that I had traded the Trooper away with 240K miles on it and an abundance of terminal issues for a 2 door burgundy Tahoe with cargo doors.
Mine was not 2 toned.

In 1978, I was driving a Schwinn Apple-Krate, with the 5-speed stick shift, drum brakes, and a rear slick. Kept that silly bike until I was in my late 20's & regrettably sold it for some beer money.
I think they're worth more now than I paid for my first 928.
