87 Monte Carlo SS Aero Coupe
I still have this beautiful car, with 73,346 original miles, loaded with every option available. The Polecat, bought new in 74, it's my avarar.

A '77 Blue MGB. Then a '79 Audi 5000s after the MG was totaled by a girlfriend.

This was my DD in 1989...
...and this was my weekend whip/all around chick magnet...
I was into Detroit Iron big time in my late teens. Nothing foreign in my fleet until the '90's.

In 1987 I drove a 1986 Saab 9000 Turbo, which had superseded an '82 900 Turbo. Bland looking, but very fast. Inside, it had a "swoopy" dash like the 928. Partly out of nostalgia, I bought a '95 900 a few years ago. Needs a new strut, so swapped positions with the 928 the other day to get onto the right lift. After spreading sand - 928 doesn't handle ice well.

Drifting
I was 16 in 1979, driving my dad's 1974 Opel Manta
It was an absolute blast racing through the foothills of the sierras.
By 1980 I had my own 1970 Firebird Formula 400 Ram Air III.

‘88 16V Scirocco. CarChick bought it new in ‘89.
I don’t think we have a single picture of it.

Probably something like this
I was less than a year old when my 78 rolled off the line.

in 1988, I saved every dime I had to buy a 1985 Dodge Shelby Charger. Awesome car compared to the junky 1975 VW Sirocco before it. Super reliable, great gas mileage, and almost as quick is my buddy's 1987 Ford GT. Had it until I just before getting my doctorate. A nun totaled it with the Catholic church's brand new Ford Explorer. I'm sure I'll spend a few days in purgatory for that one.
