Default Wisconsin Wrench

I just purchased a 1987 928S4 AT located in Eau Claire and before I drive it home I would like someone a Porsche Tech to check the damper for deflection so as to avoid the dreaded TBF. If I could get the name of a shop or dealer in the Eau Claire area It would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Terry

Sorry Terry but I don't personally know of a wrench on that side of the state. If you can get the car to Green Bay I can set you up with a very knowledgeable shop.

Page Auto in Greenbay is your best bet. Talk to Jim at (920) 496-0497

I'll second the advice for Page Auto. I'm sure that is also who Tim is suggesting.

I wish thank everyone for their input but my direction out of Eau Claire will be generally west. Possibly I should be looking at the Twin Cities area for a shop. Does anyone have a list of tools required to do the inspection. I feel that I am competent to make the inspection, if I had the right tools with me. The goal as I understand it, is to relieve any lateral stress from the TT to the flex plate. By undoing the pinch bolt and re torquing it should accomplish the goal. Any thoughts? Thanks again, Terry
