Here is the VIN. I can find out general info and it appears as though its an S4 Manual. This is a car that will be given to me and essentially is a parts car, not worth restoring but has many parts which could be used by others. Also could someone tell me what options it had?

PS.... what is the difference between this manual trans and ones that came later from 88-95? I would be parting out the car and basically selling everything that could be useful. Pics to come if I take possession of it.

This is an 86. If the last 4 numbers of the VIN were over 1000 it would be an 86.5. This is not an S4, either.

Look under carpet in the hatch area, just back of the fuel sender hole. White tag, options at the bottom. Typically hard to read by now.

86 is an S3, but manual might be worth restoring. Depends on condition of course.
