Angry Hole in roof [cellphone ant] repair

New to forum, new to 928's, sorry if covered already:

I have a hole in my 87S4 roof about the size of a quarter. It's on the top of the hatch. I either have to leave the small antennae on there [looks crappy, like it's calling an alien craft or ready to whisk eggs] or I have my magenetic antennae for Sirius Satellite radio [current soloution] stuck over th hole.

Anyone have suggestions how to fix, how much, things to watch out for, etc. etc....

Thanks

if it's centered you could install the 89-95 factory roof antenna...

Weld it shut.

Unless you want an antenna there, or a leak...

Hi I had this problem with my 79. I mounted a headlight washer nozzel in the hole facing the window. Everyone thought it was a factory item. That is if the hole is not to big. Mike D

Thanks Guys. I'm going to try and mount the later model Radio antenna there for the time being. Later, in my dreams, I will completely repaint th car and take care of it for good by welding....
