I am looking to get a set of cams ground to a more aggressive profile. Not for the 928, but another project. They will probably need to be welded first. I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions on a shop they have used. I am sure stearling will have some comment.

You need to find a grinder who has already made a master ... cams are duplicated much like keys ..a master is used and a copy is traced . The hard welding when done correctly provides a better wear surface than the cast iron camshaft . Your best bet is find out who has made cams for the car in question ....... web search
