Idle surge problem
Hi guys,
My car is 1980 928S euro model (manual).
I have this strange problem in which sometimes the idle simply goes up until 2000 rpm or the RPM doesnt drop to idle and stays around 2000RPM
Searching this forum I found the following thread but since its not exactly the same model (I have the k-jetronic) I am not sure I can try those suggestions:

I noticed that this happens more often under the following conditions and always when the engine is hot:
1. If I adjust the CO level to be too high
2. If the CO is normal this happens more if the radiator electric vent is on (!?)
I checked the WUR and it seems to be ok. Perhaps this can be related to the electric pump/fuel filter? The filter was changed about 6 years ago but the car only had about 30K KM since than. The fuel tank was also replaced 2 years ago due to licking strainer.
