Default Rear hatch receiver

I ordered the insert for the rear hatch receiver from 928 intl. Is there instructions for installing this? Do you remove the actual whole receiver? I tried fitting it in but it seems very tight/

Yes there are instructions on Rennlist. Do search... Short version- pull up and out old plastic insert. Clean any broken pieces from inside assembly. Push new insert down into opening until sides lock in. Small holes in plastic line up with two small pins on assembly. Done. May have taken five minutes to change out.

Thanks that's what I would have thought. I saw the pins and tried lining them up but its very tight and barely moves.

1. Place new insert in hot water.
2. Pick out the remnants of the insert.
3. Remove new insert from hot water
4. Press new insert in place.
5. Check fitment and adjust hatch receiver as necessary.

I just installed one from 928 Motorsports, but it should apply to yours as well.
