I got one in mine..its awesome. I didn't pull the forward shift rod out, which you can do and he has hardware to replace but I can tell you the shifter etc. is fantastic. A great investment for sure.

I thought I would give a quick review and let anyone else that has installed the new Hans shifter to chime in. I will let SeanR give his input on the install process/details etc.
First impressions are the build quality is quite nice and beefy. All components are really high quality down to the bolts/nuts sourced.
So, after a full day of driving, Wow! I’ve had the stock shifter, the Lizard shifter (no disrespect, was a great shifter for its time) and now the Hans shifter. The Hans shifter transforms the car completely. I thought the short coming of the 928 was the trans all along and now I believe it was really the original shifting mechanism. This short shifter takes shifting the car back to a pleasure from being a chore before. Makes the shifting much smoother -feels great. Nice job Hans SerVaas and great installation Sean Ratts!

It still is a mystery to me who makes this shifter (Hans Servaas sounds dutch). After some google time I found that he works at projectnine. I found a Porsche specialist by that name in th UK but also an engineering company in the USA (Indianapolis) who are not directly linked to any Porsche activities so it seems.
So I hope the company in the UK is the manufacturer because this would save me a lot on shipping and taxes to get it into the netherlands. At least as long as I buy it before Brexit.

Why is it so hard to find a vrndor for this?

Does anyone have pics of how it looks with the shift boot and **** reinstalled? I’m curious as to how long or short it is as I actually like the long tractor-style look of my ‘78’s stock shifter.

Turbine - It's not that high/long. I have it on the second highest setting so using the second and third hole from the top on the adjustable lever (so maybe 1cm shorter than highest setting).
