Default 928 GT 1989 No Power

Hello !
I have got problem with power on 928 GT 1989.
Found bad compression readings in cyl. 1 and 4.
Is it enough to take decision for opening cyl head ? Is there other tests to check the problem?

Thank you in advance.

Konstantin.

You can do a leak-down test too.

When you do the test, take the oil fill cap off so you listen to hear if the air is escaping past the rings. If you don't hear anything, you can remove the air filter so you can hear if the air is escaping past the intake valve, and listen at the tail pipe to hear if it's escaping past the exhaust valve.

By the way, what was your compression numbers for all cylinders? Did you do the test with the throttle wide open?
